9:00am- Eating out at Canopy Road Cafe!

A good day starts with a scrumptious breakfast! Start you day at Canopy Road Cafe that serves up yummilicious breakfast and coffee.  Savor traditional breakfast like omelet, sweet potato pancake, French toast, biscuits and gravy. Pair it with a cup of tasty coffee.

10:00am- View from the Top!

Immerse yourself in history, culture and politics of the state at the Florida State Capitol Museum. Learn about Florida’s governmental and political history from the 1900s to the present. Check out the Governor’s Suite, Senate, Supreme Court and House Chambers. Walk the stunning staircase and head over to 22nd observatory floor, where you can see Tallahassee laid-out before you. Enjoy the panoramic views of the city.

11:00am- A Heritage Tour!

Now, head off to Museum of Florida History that features exhibits and artifacts reflecting the past and present cultures and historical events in the state. Florida in the World War II, Civil War, Naval Ships named Florida, and early Floridians and their role are exhibited here. Get your fix of Florida souvenirs at the Florida History Shop onsite.

12:00pm-Experience life in the past!

Make your way over to Mission San Luis de Apalachee, which is a national landmark and a living history village in Tallahassee. Actors are dressed in period garbs demonstrating the lives and experiences of the Spanish settlers and Apalachee Indians in the village.

1:00pm- Time to fill yourself up!

Step into Super Perros (2010 West Tennessee Street) for some South American cuisine. If craving for sushi or Asian cuisine, head off to Kiku (800 Ocala Rd Ste 370). For American fare, go to Prime Time Lounge and Restaurant (1921 West Tennessee Street). Try Mexican cuisine at Tijuana Flats (2020 W. Pensacola Street).

2:00pm- Venture into Tallahassee Museum!

Tucked away in the center of Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Museum showcases the natural and cultural history of the city through interesting exhibits and displays. From the 19th century to the present day natural history is exhibited here. Check out the numerous native species like red wolves, Florida panthers, river otter and more at the Natural Habitat section. Other section of the museum includes Southern cotton plantation, Dinosaur exhibit made from discarded auto parts, Big Bend Farm, restored buildings exploring the ecology and environment of the area, and Tree to Tree Adventure. This museum combines history and nature!

3:00pm- Pop in Goodwood Museum and Gardens!

Had enough of history and culture? Now, make your way over to Goodwood Museum and Gardens to soak in some outdoor beauty. It is a magnificent antebellum plantation house and garden dating back to the 1830s.  With century-old oaks, beautiful gardens and lawns with an array of flowers and plants, this place is truly a delight for nature lovers. Inside the museum are the original furnishings, glassware, porcelain, art, textiles and personal items of the family who lived here during the 19th and 20th century.

4:00pm- Back to nature! 

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, make your way over to Alfred Mac Lay Gardens that has a large variety of local flora, over 5 miles of biking and hiking trails, picnic areas, a reflecting pool, boat rentals and several gardens. Walk along the scenic walkways through the ornamental gardens’ or enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, riding horses, kayaking, swimming and more. A thousand acres of outdoor heaven it is, loaded with something for every outdoor enthusiast and nature lover!

5:00pm- Ready to do some Shopping?

Head off to Market District Shopping Center where you can get everything you need and whatever you budget permits. You’ll find men and women clothing, health & fitness, jewelry, home goods & furnishings, gifts, decor, cafes, banking, and salon at this shopping center.

Next, head off to Midtown to do some more shopping. Find high-end beauty items at Kanvas Beauty Essentials shop; and latest fashion at Divas and Devils or Cole Couture. It features clothing stores, boutiques, jewelry stores, home decor shops, spas and several restaurants. Walk around the area and take your pick!

7:00pm-Get ready to be entertained!

10:00pm- Party has started in the Tally!

Energy levels and spirit still high? No trip to Tally is complete without hitting the nightclub. Those with incredibly high energy, head to Bullwinkle’s Tavern. Dance the night away to the music spun by the DJs. Unwind with one of their fab cocktails while listening to live bands.
